What if I just throw away all my chemicals into the regular garbage?
It is Illegal to dispose of hazardous waste in the garbage, storm drains and in the ground.
How do I know if can put a liquid chemical down the drain?
If you can’t drink it, then it doesn’t go down the drain and should be properly disposed of.
Can I take my paints and chemicals to the land fill?
Landfills do not take paints and chemicals. If you are a homeowner check with your city for, HHW, Household Hazardous Waste Events to drop off your chemicals and paints.
